I'm 43 years old, from Wisconsin, USA and I love Don Henley and The Eagles! I also love classic rock as well as other types of music.

Watch for updates on Don Henley as his release date for his new album gets nearer. Yes, he has a new album due out early next year (finally!) and a tour will follow in the spring or summer!

 
Music, Music, Music...

I also love different types of music, just about anything except:

  • Rap (NO WAY! What a waste of time!)
  • Jazz (Just can't get into it!)
  • Opera (Does anyone really understand it?)
  • Classical (Just not my cup of tea!)
  • Country (I like some Garth Brooks, but most of it sounds the same to me!)

Guess that doesn't leave too many choices, does it?

I like some heavy metal: Motley Crue, Def Leppard (are they metal?), Ozzy Osbourne, Cinderella (going to see them next month!), Warrant, Skid Row, Poison,and some Aerosmith.

I like eighties music (of course, now isn't that considered "classic rock"?) Bands like U2, Journey,(saw them last week, awesome!), Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Billy Idol,and Huey Lewis & The News.

As far as nineties music goes, not too much appeals to me. I like The Smashing Pumpkins and Oasis. I wouldn't run to the record store for too many bands!

Other classic rock bands I like are: Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Moody Blues, Procal Harum, The Stones (may be seeing them next year!) I also like John Fogerty and Rod Stewart.


I guess I have varied tastes in music!
 
Concerts, What A Way To Go!
I enjoy going to concerts (can you tell?) There's nothing like singing your heart out and dancing up a storm! Today's music really doesn't do it for me. I make up for it by going to as many classic rock concerts as I can and yes, I do have someone special to share them with! Makes it really wonderful! My latest concert was to see Motley Crue! Not exactly a "classic rock" band in the sense of the words, but they *rocked*! One of the best concerts I've ever been to! It was a night to remember!
